Yes, Punjabi University Patiala does offer MBA courses for two years, in full-time mode. The MBA courses are offered by the university and its affiliated colleges. The university offers MBA programmes in multiple specialisations along with a few MBA programmes in collaboration with top foreign Universities. Admission to all these programmes is granted basis of a merit list, which is prepared by giving 85% weightage to academic performance in graduation and 15% weightage to GD and PI conducted by the University. The bad news is that Punjabi University, Patiala, does not offer a BA in Film and TV Production.
The strong point of the university's presence in the field of media studies has been through its Centre for Advanced Media Studies. Yet, the undergraduate course being offered is B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Media Technology. It does provide some good grounding in media but no specialisation in film and TV production at the undergraduate level.

The entire tuition charge for BA courses ranges from INR 25,560 to INR 4.12 lacs. Punjabi University provides a BA. In a variety of humanities and languages. Candidates seeking admission to these courses must meet the basic eligibility criteria. The essential requirements are that the candidate have passed Class 12 with at least 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. The selection will be based on the 70/30 ratios. The qualifying examination will be given 70% weightage, with the aptitude test/audition/interview receiving 30%.
