Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as core subjects. They need to have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in these subjects combined. Additionally, for certain programs like Agriculture Engineering, specific subjects like Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship may be required. For MCA and MBA programs, Shiksha require a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Admission to B.Tech programs is also based on scores in entrance exams like JEE Main.
