RGIPT BTech course admission 2026 is entrance-based as the institute accepts the rank and scores obtained by candidates in the JEE Advanced or JEE Mains. However, during the preparation of the merit list, preference will be given to JEE Advanced qualified candidates by the institute and, if seats remain vacant in any of the branch after completion of the seat allotment in regular rounds, then those vacant seats will be filled based on JEE Mains rank.
