Admission into the B.Tech programme of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) expects aspirants to have an average of 60% marks in Class 12th for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the subjects of study in Class 12th. However, meeting this eligibility does not end there, as RGIPT considers scores through JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for admission. Admission is open at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. According to the official website of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), for BTech courses, candidates need to apply and appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced and fill the application form on the official website of the university. Last date to apply for M.Tech and PhD is June 30, 2024 and last date to apply for BTech admission is July 7, 2024

RGIPT fee structure for the BTech programme is broken down into multiple components, such as tuition fee and, one-time fee. Apart from the tuition fee which ranges between INR 10.41 Lacs - INR 10.80 Lakh, candidates are required to pay the one-time fee of INR 1,416 and, INR 30,000 for seat blocking.
