Hi there,
Before deciding about the college first know what are the pros and cons of doing post graduation with MBA and/or PGDM because for a majority of government jobs, PGDM is not useful but many posts are normally available for PGDM graduates. See which course is more feasible for your career but not just immediate future. Anyways, Ramaiah would be the best option for you among PGDM offering colleges.

Hello,
Ramaiah Institute of Technology has an MBA programme in engineering campus and its placements differ from that of our campus i.e. Ramaiah Institute of Management (RIM). RIM's placements are always a way ahead compared to any other B-school. RIMS is another Institute, so please check for which college you have taken admission, and then decide.

Hello,Institute doesn't have any foreign tours in it's curriculum. It is a complete 2 year in-house course, where you have to do 2 different projects. In the whole course, there is only one industrial tour taken just for a day in Bangalore premises. Thank you.

Hello,
Now, it is just Ramaiah Institute of Management. Regarding the status of institute, it is considered as tier-2, but few even allot IT tier -3 status. Tier-1 institutes are top notch and IIT IIM, SP Jain, ISB etc. Come into picture.

Hi,
When you check the difference here all what matters:-
1) Good name and fame.
2) Fine placements.
3) Average infrastructure (that isn't matter for one who studies).
4) Knowledgeable faculty.
5) Several ways to learn new things.
Overall it will be a best experience to know in and out about management.

Hello,
I don't say that year gap wouldn't affect your placements but they never stop you from going beyond. Very few companies wouldn't accept year gaps abiding to their policy but most of them don't hinder your job. So, I would say you to join a well known institute like Ramaiah where you'll be having a chance to get into some or the other company.
All the best.

Pros: You will end up with a PGDM approved by AICTE, You can end up with a good job at the end of two years and successful completion of the course, learn a lot (proportionate to your interest and involvement), you have a lot of seniors to guide and help.
Cons: You have to invest money and two years, you have to work (study) to get your degree.
