Eligibility- Must have completed undergraduation with more than 50% . 5% relaxation for reserved categories.  It is mandatory for students that come from foreign universities to have an equivalence certificate.

Must Have Valid Scorecard of MBA entrance examinations (CAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT).

The admission prerequisites for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at Ranchi University entail the following conditions:

1. Educational Qualification: Applicants are mandated to have successfully completed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a duly recognised board or university, demonstrating a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

2. Compulsory Subjects: It is imperative that candidates have included Mathematics and English as obligatory subjects during their 10+2 level of education.

Furthermore, in conjunction with the aforementioned eligibility criteria, candidates may be stipulated to partake in an entrance examination administered by the university. The selection of candidates for enrollment into the BCA programme will be determined by an amalgamation of their performance in the entrance test and their academic standing.
