The eligibility criteria for Direct Second Year Admission at TCET for B.E. (Mechanical engineering is given below.
Eligibility : Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.

The minimum eligibility criterion for Diploma in education D.Ed courses has been reset to the higher secondary certificate (HSC). The government had recently announced that the eligibility criteria will be changed from HSC to graduation. However, for this year, the old criteria will be applied.
