There is no prior experience required for the candidate to apply for the RBI Assistant recruitment. Candidates who have completed their graduation can apply for RBI Assistant exam. The percentage required in graduation inorder to apply for RBI Assistant exam is 50 per cent. The age limit prescribed for RBI Assistant exam is 20 and 28 years. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for RBI Assistant exam. Candidates must check the eligibility before applying for the exam.

The applicant needs a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% of the required credits. It is also sufficient for candidates who are SC, ST, or PWD to pass their classes in order to apply for the exam. A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% in any subject is required of candidates. People with qualifying grades from SC, ST, or PWD backgrounds, however, may apply. Any graduate candidate who are between 20 and 28 years can apply for the exam. Candidates born not earlier than 02/09/1995 and not later than 01/09/2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Yes, candidates who are in their final semester or year of graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, if they are asked to come in for an interview, they must provide documentation that they meet the age, educational, and language proficiency requirements for RBI Assistants as well as proof that they have completed the graduation requirements. Selected candidates will be initially posted in RBI’s Office within the Recruitment Zone for which they had applied. However, they are liable to be transferred in administrative exigencies to centres grouped and classified into West, South, North and East Zone offices. RBI Assistant receives a basic pay of INR 20,700 along with certain increments in salary.
