The use of pronoun 'this' in the beginning of the first sentence gives a hint. 21 is a link here. Only A and B have this link. 4 is more of a concluding sentence. Hence, 2134 is the logical sequence.

'think in these manners' connects 3rd with 2nd sentence. 'thought' of 1st sentence links it to 3rd. One line of evidence comes from 4th sentence which connects to 'suggests' of 1. This brings us to the correct sequence which can only be 2314.
