  • Candidates with at least 50% marks in either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or in any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme
  • relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.

The CEE (Common Entrance Exam) is usually held once a year for admission into various professional courses like engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, or B.Ed, depending on the state or institution conducting it.

 General Pattern

  • Frequency: Once every academic year

  • Application Window: Typically 1–2 months before the exam

  • Exam Month: Usually between April and June (for most state-level CEEs in India)

To get into RIE Centre, the interested candidate must clear the RIE CEE exam. They must appear at the counselling with the required documents and fees on the announced day.

At least 50% in the qualifying exam (relaxable to 45% for reserved categories) is required to be eligible to sit for the exam. The RIE CEE 2026 qualifying marks will be based on the weightage formula that includes 60% weightage to RIE CEE exam score and 40% weightage to qualifying exam marks

For Physical Science Group in RIE CEE: Students must have passed class 10+2 with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics/Statistics, getting at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) in 2025, 2024, or 2023.

RIE CEE exam includes the listed section with the decided marking scheme.

  • Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) (20 questions)
  • Teaching Aptitude (30 questions)
  • Reasoning Ability (30 questions)

The total number of question will be 80 and the candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete the exam.

Yes, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the RIE CEE exam every year in June/July. The RIE CEE 2026 Application Form filling is expected to begin in April 2026.

Upload expected / provisional marks for now.
