The institute offers scholarships on the basis of performance in national-level entrance exams, and the CAT is one of those. While preparing a cutoff for the RIIM Pune MBA course, the authorities will consider examination and admission-related factors. The listed factors will be checked and considered by the authorities while determining the cutoff are, RIIM Pune MBA previous years' cutoff trends, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of qualified candidates, the total number of candidates applying for a specific course or institute, the number of seats available for admission, etc. After checking all of these factors, the authorities will prepare the cutoff for MBA admission.

RIIM Pune shortlists students based on their performance in the CAT/ XAT /MAT /CMAT /ATMA /GMAT/ NMAT or any other competitive exam approved by AICTE, followed by WA, GD & PI. Selected students need to upload the documents for verification and book a slot for seat allocation. Moreover, at the time of admission confirmation, candidates are required to pay the registration fee of INR 50,000.
