Admissions to the different Law courses of Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies will depend on merit or Class 12 scores though students must also have valid CLAT,  LSAT,  AILET or RILS Entrance Test scores to qualify.

But it is difficult to say whether getting into Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies is tough or easy as students also have to go through Personal Interview rounds which will be subjective in nature.

The Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies is quite a good choice for students who wish to study Law from a reputed institute with its BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes having approval from national bodies such as the Bar Council of India.

Students will also find a teaching culture that emphasizes hands-on learning through mock trials, model parliaments and moot courts.

As a fresher, life at Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies is not difficult and quite nice. Students will receive a warm welcome from their seniors and teachers.

Also the university has an Anti-Ragging Cell with the college premises having strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, hence survival at RILS Bangalore for freshers is as comfortable as for the seniors.
