As per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission to the BTech course of Royal Global University. The selection criteria include an entrance exam and a personal interview. Applicants must obtain a valid score in JEE/CEE or R-JEE (Royal Joint Entrance Examinations). Shortlisted applicants must appear for a Personal Interview (PI). The final selected is based on the applicants' performance in the entrance exam and the personal interview.

RGU Guwahati BTech application process is incomplete without uploading the required documents. The university has prescibed a list of documents to be scanned and uploaded while applying. The list contains the following documents:
- Passport Size Photo
- Class 10 Mark Sheet
- Class 10 Pass Certificate
- Class 12 Mark Sheet
- Class 12 Pass Certificate
- Age Proof (Birth Certificate/Class 10 Admit Card)

The RGU Guwahati BA (English) curriculum is based on the New Education Policy (NEP). It is divided over a period of four years. However, students can opt to exit after the third year. There are two semesters per year and each semester includes various core subjects, Value Addition Courses (VAC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) and Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC). Students must undertake a Dissertation/Research Project in the fourth year and an Internship in the third year.
