RGU Guwahati has over 200 seats for BTech. These seats are further distributed over the BTech specialisations available at the university. The RGU Guwahati BTech seat intake for some specialisations is as follows:

RGU Guwahati BTech application process is incomplete without uploading the required documents. The university has prescibed a list of documents to be scanned and uploaded while applying. The list contains the following documents:
- Passport Size Photo
- Class 10 Mark Sheet
- Class 10 Pass Certificate
- Class 12 Mark Sheet
- Class 12 Pass Certificate
- Age Proof (Birth Certificate/Class 10 Admit Card)
- Caste Certificate (For SC/ST/OBC Non Creamy Layer)
- Character Certificate from last institution
- Student Signature
- Parents' Signature

Candidates willing to take admission to Royal Global University for BTech must start with checking their eligibility for admission. If the candidates are eligible as per the preset RGU Guwahati BTech eligibility criteria, they must visit the university's official website to apply online. The university acknowledges the recieved application within 24 hours. The university shortlists eligible applicants based on their JEE/CEE/Royal JEE score.
