Candidates should be thorough with the RRB Group D exam pattern. They should also know the topics given in the syllabus. Candidates must also practice the previous years question papers. They should also refer to good books and study materials.

Candidates should focus on RRB NTPC preparation for four to six hours daily. This also depends on the current level of preparation and familiarity with the subjects. It is with hardwork and determination that candidates will be able to crack the exam.

RRB Group D exam pattern is Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 objective-type questions, which are categorized into four categories: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. There are 25 questions in each category. The test will be of 90 minutes duration with 1/3 deduction for each wrong answer. The candidates who pass the CBT are shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and then for Document Verification.
