RULET Eligibility

The RULET 2026 application form fee is expected to be INR 2,000 for candidates belonging to the General and OBC category, and INR 1,000 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PWD categories. The application form fee for RULET exam is non-refundable, and candidates will be able to pay the fee through the online mode using a credit card, debit card, or net banking facility. Candidates are required to keep a copy of the payment receipt or transaction ID for future reference.

The following reservation policy will be used for filling BA LLB seats in various categories.

5% seat will be reserved for the persons with disabilities in all categories.

To apply for RULET 2026, candidates should have secured atleast 50% (45% if SC/ST) marks in Class 12th if they are resident of Rajasthan and have passed the examination from the state education board. Candidates from any other state, should have obtained at least 60% marks in the Class 12th examination to be eligible for admission.

RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) eligibility criteria typically does not restrict candidates based on their state of residence. This means that candidates from other states in India are generally eligible to apply for RULET and seek admission to the BA LL.B. (Hons.) programme offered by the University of Rajasthan. However, they must meet the qualification requirements related to the qualification based eligibility criteria of the University of Rajasthan for admission to the BA LL.B. course.

Programme Offered: RULET is conducted for admission to the BA LL.B. (Hons.) program, which is a five-year integrated undergraduate course in law.

Candidates preparing for the the RULET exam must refer to the best resource books and practice as many sample papers and question papers to ace in the exam. Clearing the RULET exam is not that difficult when done in strategised manner.
