RV Institute of Management Eligibility

To be eligible for the MBA programme at RV Institute of Management (RVIM) you must meet the following criteria:-

Academic Qualification:- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognised university. Final year students can also apply provisionally. 

Entrance Exams:- You must have appeared for and scored a valid percentile in any of the following entrance exams:-

CAT (Common Admission Test)

MAT (Management Aptitude Test)

CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test)

ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions)

KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test)

Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test)

Work Experience:- While work experience is not mandatory having some relevant work experience will strengthen your application.

The selection process for the MBA programme at RVIM typically involves the following steps:-

Shortlisting:- Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and have scored a valid percentile in the entrance exam are shortlisted for the next round.

Group Discussion (GD):- Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a group discussion. This round assesses your communication skills, teamwork ability and critical thinking skills.

Personal Interview (PI):- The final round of the selection process is a personal interview. This round gives the admissions committee an opportunity to assess your overall personality, motivation and fit for the program.

Once you have met the eligibility criteria and completed the application process you can track your application status online. The results of the selection process are usually announced within a few weeks of the interview.
