To get admission in RV University BTech, students have to check the eligibility first. Admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university accepts KCET/ JEE Main scores. The management quota seats are offered on first-come first-served basis. Selected students have to report for verification of documents. To complete the process, students have to pay the admission fees.

The entrance exam and application fees are non-refundable. No refund is done if the cancellation is due to any disciplinary action for any academic/ hostel/ other fees. Students can check the table below to know about the cancellation and refund policy for RV University admissions:

Students have to submit some documents for RV University admission and application. The general list is as below:
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets
- Bachelor's degree certificate & marksheet
- Master's degree certificate & marksheet
- Transfer and Migration Certificates (original)
- Entrance exam scorecard - if applicable
- Two recent coloured passport-size photographs
- All other documents as per MP Government's instructions (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card/ Identity Proof
