To get into the Masters in Computer Applications, candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent in the qualifying exam (45 per cent for reserved category candidates). Candidates are eligible if they have completed their education in any of the following patterns: 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5 years pattern. It is mandatory to have 50% above in TANCET

A student is required to pass a bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration from a recognised college/university and obtain at least 50% (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree examination.
