Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) fee structure depends on the course offered and the category of a student. UG courses: Base Pay: INR 50,200 - 2,50,200 per annum (B.E.: INR 1,20,200 - 1,80,200, BBA: INR 50,200- 80,200, BCA: INR 60,200-90,200). PG courses: Rs. INR 30,000- 3,00,000 per annum M.Tech 60000- 1,20,000, MBA: 1,00,000- 2,00,000 MCA: 50000- 90,000. Fees breakdown: Tuition fee accounts for 80% of the fees, miscellaneous fees for 10%, and examination fees for five per cent while the other charges take five per cent. Scholarship options: Based on academic achievement Tuition fee waivers (10-100 %), Government scholarship for rank holders of KCET Exam, SC/ST /OBC. Hostel fees: Rs. 60000-120000 per annum.

Candidates seeking admission to UG/PG courses in Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) need to fulfil a few criteria. UG courses: 45% added in 10+2 (for engineering PCM and biosciences PCB streams). PG courses: 50% aggregate in graduation (the relevant stream). Entrance exams: KCET (Karnataka CET), COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, GMAT. There is a deviation concerning the eligibility of candidates under NRI, management, and lateral entry quota. Documents required: JEE-Main score card, 10+2 marks card, graduation marks card, transfer certificate, conduct certificate and any other certificate for entrance examination. Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) is an independent college which is run by Sri Dayananda Sagar and was inaugurated in the year 1960. The college is recognised by AICTE and is also associated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). DSI is venturesome and self-funded and is under Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust. The campus is 29 acres in size, and it has more than 25 institutions, providing 200-plus programs. Student intake: campus: 20,000+ students, faculty: 1,500+. Currently, DSI is funded at 85% from private sources, 10% from government grants and balances from alumni and industry partners. It is a NAAC-accredited institution with an A+ grade (CGPA of 3.39 out of 4.00). Rated amongst the first 100 institutions in India as per NIRF, consistently pushing the placement record past 80%.

Cut off marks of Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) are different depending on the programme and exam the students want to take. For undergraduate programs:

- KCET: low 50s- High 80 percentile (Engineering), mid 40s – High 60 percentile (Other courses)

- COMEDK: Engineering: below 60-90 percentile, Below 50-80 percentile in other courses

- JEE Main: 60-80 percentile

For postgraduate programs:

- GATE: M.Tech: 30-50 percentile MCA: 40- 60 percentile

- MAT: 40-60 percentile (MBA)

- CMAT: 50-70 percentile

DSI also takes into account the 10+2 marks and percentage score of the candidates granted between 45-60% for UG and 50-65% PG candidates. Relaxation for reserved categories: 5-10%.
