The application fee for the M.Tech programme at Sambalpur University is INR 7662. The tuition fees is INR 1 lacs to INR 1.5 lacs for 2 years. All other fees like Hostel fees, mess fees, alumni fees and others have to be paid in addition to the tuition fees.

Sambalpur University is decent University for B.Tech. It was established in 1967 and it is accredited by NAAC as 'A' grade University. The institute offer B.Tech in various branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, etc. The median package offered to the students pursuing B.Tech was INR 4.52 LPA during the 2023 campus placement drive. The university offers a blend of highly qualified faculty, state of art infrastructure, fair placement record, industry required academic curriculum and many more.

Ofcourse Sambalpur University is offering good placements opportunities to its students. Around 60% of the MBA students gets successfully placed at the Sambalpur University In the MBA program. Average package offered to the MBA programme students was between 4-9 LPA. Top recruiters in the college were from the management and consultancy fields.
Overall this is a good college in terms of placements for the MBA course.
