However, as per some unofficial sources, University of California-San Francisco, has an acceptance rate of 18%, which means out of every 100 applications, only 18 are selected, which makes is very competitive to get selected into the university.

The university gives preference to students having higher grades or have exceptional academic or research experience. Hence, having higher grades increases your chance of getting selected at University of California San Francisco.
