As you possess a 92.26 percentile in JEE Main and your category is EWS, your EWS category rank will probably be within a scale of 8,000-9,000. The table below shows last year Round closing ranks of SVNIT Surat especially by Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) EWS quota, where the Other State (OS) quota closing ranks were 1000-1500 and Home State (HS) quota killing ranks were 1000-2500.Although 92.26 percentile is good there is a possibility of facing difficulties in gaining a CSE seat at SVNIT Surat because EWS ranks as a percentage opens are very high as far as CSE is concerned. SVNIT Surat provides M.Tech specialisation in a wide range of core branches of engineering starting with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Science etc. Every branch is designed to have higher studies together with research possibilities. One will select the branch position in accordance to the qualifying degree and GATE paper of the candidate. The admissions will be made on availability and merit.

The candidates to participate on the M.Tech programme at SVNIT Surat should have a degree of BE/BTech/B.Arch. They must obtain a minimum of 60 papers or 6.5 CGPA. The reserve to 55 or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD students. All categories are required to have a valid GATE score.

Admission to SVNIT Surat M.Tech is done through valid GATE score, and CCMT counselling. Students are to apply online and take part in the centralized process. Seat allotment is made on basis of rank, preferences, and availability of seats. Enrollment is strictly Merit-based and entrance-motivated.

SVNIT Surat provides BTech in six areas viz. Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. There is also an opportunity to pursue an integrated course of Dual Degree (BTech + MBA). Every specialisation is developed to offer excellent training and knowledge. Its curriculum is industry oriented and approved by AICTE.

The candidates must have cleared Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The minimum marks should be 75 percent (65 percent in case of SC/ST candidates). Also, a valid score in JEE Main.

The selection in BTech programme at SVNIT Surat depends on the performance of the candidate in the JEE Main examination. Once the students have qualified, they will be required to undergo JoSAA counselling to get seats awarded. It is purely based on merit and based on reservation norms.
