SVNIT Surat has well-educated faculty. Most of the faculty are PhD and higher degree holders. The institute also arranges guest lectures and workshops, seminars, and various trainings for students. At present, there are more than 100 faculty members and most of them are doctorates.

The NIT Surat CSE average package offered in 2025 stood at INR 16.73 LPA. Earlier, SVNIT recorded 71% placements for BTech and 70% placements for MTech batch in 2024.
