While IITs say that it is the delivery of the two that is different, AICTE chairperson believes the BE is valued more than B.Tech when applying abroad. The curriculum, however, remains almost similar for the two. Thanks.

Engineers cannot work in Saudi Arabia unless professional accreditation has been obtained from the Saudi Council of Engineers. However, Sikkim university is a reputed university. Hello Tarique Mallik, I am afraid that at present in India any university is debarred from offering professional courses by distance education mode. Hence I can not provide any information. However you can think of doing AMIE. This is de factor distance education mode. It's equivalent to graduation in all respects. Best wishes to you.
