The website name Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) School of Distance Education (Established in : 1976) The Institute of Distance Education, started in 1976 as a teaching and research department of the University of Kerala, is one of the pioneering centre of distance learning in the state.

For B.Sc., BCA, BA, B.Com and BBA courses, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board of education. The selection in all the bachelor's courses will be done on the basis of merit. For PG programs, the selection will be merit based.
