No, the SET exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the SET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the internet-based test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the SET exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the SET exam centre and take the exam online. They can choose upto three preferred SET test cities during the SET exam registration. Yes, Symbiosis school of economics accepts SET scores for admission to its B.Sc and M.Sc programs. Admission is against qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and presonal interaction (PI). Interested candidates who have completed their +2 education with a minimum of 50 percentage aggregate marks and for SC/ST categoiries it is 45 percentage are eligible to apply through the SET exam. To get into the BSc programme at Symbiosis School of Economics SET is required.
Eligibility: You should have passed your 12th grade or equivalent exam from a recognised board with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). If you're aiming for the Honours with Research option, you need a CGPA of 7.5 or higher by the end of Semester-6.
Selection Process:
