No, the SET exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the SET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the internet-based test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the SET exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To get into the BSc programme at Symbiosis School of Economics SET is required.

Eligibility: You should have passed your 12th grade or equivalent exam from a recognised board with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). If you're aiming for the Honours with Research option, you need a CGPA of 7.5 or higher by the end of Semester-6.
