Actually, the issue is like that MITSOM has become a private university. It is now MIT, World Peace University. So that can be a reason. But I am not sure if it is for all the courses offered. You can visit MIT website for that.

If you belong to some reserved category other than OBC then you have good chances. Otherwise, it is difficult to convert. One thing you can do is fill up the institute level seat form. You may convert through that process.

It is a good option to do MBA from this college in Pune. It has got high return on investment. Placement packages range from 4-5 LPA.
