SPA Delhi MDes eligibility criteria define the minimum educational requirements required to be fulfilled by the candidates seeking admission. As per the criteria, candidates interested in taking admission must have a bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent or a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Design/Fine Arts from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% in aggregate.

While allocating SPA Delhi MPlan seats, the admission committee takes the institute's reservation policy into consideration. As per the SPA Delhi reservation policy, a total of 39 seats are reserved for the admission of SC/ST category students. Out of which, 20 seats are reserved for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and 19 seats are reserved for the admission of ST category students. Moreover, 5% of seats are reserved for Physically Challenged Persons on a horizontal basis.

Admissions to M.Arch courses at SPA Delhi are made based on a valid GATE/CEED score. Moreover in order to be eligible a student must have BArch or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Fine Arts from a recognised university or equivalent. To seek admission, aspirants shall fill out the application form that can be downloaded online (spa.ac.in) and submit it to the school centre. Further, the selection is based on performance in JEE Main. Candidates applying through JEE also have to go through JoSAA/CSAB counselling process for seat allotment.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate and studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible. Aspirants shall have the original and photocopy of the pass certificate with them at the time of seat allotments. Moreover, the application is treated as invalid if the eligibility requirements are not fulfilled.

SPA Delhi offers 2 undergraduate, 3 postgraduate and PhD level courses in different specialisations. These courses are offered in the Architecture & Planning, Design, Humanities & Social Sciences stream. The duration of the courses ranges from 2 years to 5 years. Admission to these courses is entrance exam based. Candidates can fill online application after fulfilling the eligibility criteria to register themselves for the various courses offered at SPA Delhi. For undergraduate courses, candidates need to qualify for JEE Main. Candidates need to appear for CEED or GATE for postgraduate courses.
