To apply at the Technological University of Shannon (TUS) Athlone campus students are required to apply directly through the university's official website.
- International students can apply directly through the university's official website
- Students must submit their English Language proficiency test scores. The English language tests include TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, PTE and many others,
- International students are required to submit their Higher Secondary Certificate for XII standard for the undergraduate course and for the postgraduate course, they are required to attain a Bachelor's degree with suggested scores or higher.

The Technological University of the Shannon is a public univeristy in Ireland established in 2021 after the merger of two institites of technology offering various courses in world recognised fields including the sports management programs.
The university is known as a multi campus university having seven campuses in Ireland; Athlone, Limerick, Thurles, Coonagh, Clare Steet, Molyish and Ennis along with a Digital campus in Clonmel.
