A hostel room falling vacant on account of withdrawl by an alotte. Given below are the hostel fee refund case:
Alloted to a wait listed candidate: Only pro-rate fee will be deducted and rest of the fee will refund to the candidates.
Rooms remains vacant: The mess charges will only be refunded to the candidates.

If any students want to withdraw from the programme, the university follow the five-tier system for the refund of fees:

Sharda University offers various UG, PG and PhD courses with several specialisations. The flagship courses consists of BTech and MTech. The total tuition fees for a BTech course range between INR 7.8 Lacs - INR 11.4 Lacs. The minimum eligibility criteria to get admission for a BTech course involves passing Class 12 with 60% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB. The university accepts scores of the JEE Main exam with All India rank up to 3 lakh.

Yes, you can join Sharda University without appearing for CUET. Sharda University conducts an in-house entrance exam, SUAT for UG and PG courses. The mode of admission at Sharda University is both merit and entrance-based. Other than this, if you are qualified in any State or National level entrance exam, you can get admission to Sharda University.

Sharda University was established in 2009. It is a known private university in Delhi NCR. The university is accredited by NAAC with A+ grade. In the NIRF 2025 rankings, it secured #87 position in the university category and 101-150 in Engineering. The university was also ranked #14 in the Engineering category by Times National Ranking in 2024.

Sharda University BSc eligibility criteria can be different from one specialisation to another. The minimum criteria is that the student must be Class 12 or equivalent pass in Science stream. It should have been passed with an aggregate ranging from 50% to 60%. The students must be at least 17 years of age by Dec 31 of the academic year.

The SOL Sharda University fee structure is inclusive of different components that are either one-time chargeable or have to be paid annually/semesterly. Some of these components are tuition fee, caution deposit, hostel fee, and more. The tuition fee for the LLM courses is INR 1.8 lakh and the hostel charges cost is INR 1.30 lakh.
