No, IELTS is not mandatory to study at the Sheffield Hallam Uni. It also accepts several other English language tests. A valid score in either the TOEFL-iBT, Pearson PTE, or Duolingo English test is given equal importance as IELTS.

International Students can apply to Sheffield Hallam University through the UCAS application portal. The students are required to submit the application before the required deadline in September every year. Later, they can also submit their required written work by November and finish the required documentation to accept their offer of admission if their application is successful.

Sheffield Hallam University offers a range of distance learning courses to international students who cannot study on campus. The students will have the benefit of studying in a place of their choosing and they can fit their schedule based on their personal life tasks. Students who have chosen the distance learning courses are not required to fulfill the campus attendance requirement.
