Admission to IHM Shillong is based on merit and the results of the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE). 

Eligibility-:

To be eligible for admission to the B.Sc. program, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as core subjects. 

The upper age limit for admission is 25 years for General category students and 28 years for SC/ST students.
