Shiv Nadar University Admission Process

SNU Chennai BCom admissions take place through the SNUCEE entrance exam and personal interview round conducted by the institution. The admission process for both BCom (General) and BCom (Professional Accounting) programmes is the same.

Candidates seeking admission into the institution should apply for admission through the SNU Chennai website. The application fee to apply for admission in BCom at SNU Chennai is INR 1,500.

Shiv Nadar University Noida offers admission to BA (Research) based on entrance-exam scores of the candidates. The university considers ACT, SNUSAT, SAT or CUET-UG scores. Selected aspirants are further called for a personal interview round. Aspirants need to confirm their admission by paying the course fee.

Candidates while applying for a course at SNU Noida must keep their documents ready. The university evaluates the documents of the candidates to confirm their eligibility. Below are some of the basic documents that students need while filling out the SNU form:

• Scanned photograph & signature
• Class 10 and Class marksheet
• Graduation marksheet (if required)

The percentage required for admission to various courses depends on the course selected by the students. For the undergraduate courses Class 12 with a minimum of 45%-75% aggregate is accepted by the university along with the various entrance exam scores. For postgraduate courses, a minimum of 60% aggregate in graduation is accepted by the university. The accepted entrance exams for admission to various courses is GATE, TNEA, and others. 

SNU Noida has a rolling admission process. Round-1 applications are open. Candidates can register before the deadline for SNUSAT. Below are the important dates for SNUSAT:

SNU Noida admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the courses. For UG courses, candidates must pass Class 12 and have appeared for SAT or JEE Main in case of UG courses. SNU Noida admission to PG courses like MBA, MSc, etc. is based on entrance exams like  NMAT, GMAT, XAT, university admission test, etc. for specific courses. Along with entrance-exam, aspirants must also complete graduation to apply for PG courses.
