Out of SNU Chennai, Loyola College Chennai, and Madras Christian College. Loyola College has the most affordable tuition fee among BCom colleges in Chennai. The total fee to pursue BCom at Loyola College is INR 47,900 – 2.5 lakh depending on the specialisation chosen.
If we look at the total fee of Madras Christian College and SNU Chennai the total fee is INR 83,760 and INR 7.97 lakh, respectively. Thus the total fee of both the colleges is much higher than Loyola College Chennai.

Yes, the Personal Interview (PI) round is necessary for admission into the BCom programme at SNU Chennai as it is where the faculty can gauge the interests and aspirations of the candidate regarding the programme. The PI round also acts as a way for the faculty to introduce the programme and their pedagogy to the candidate.
This interaction is necessary before the start of the programme as there are very few seats in the programme, and the faculty gives individual attention to each student in the programme. Thus, the faculty must select candidates who are genuinely interested and capable of doing the course.
