NIELIT Gangtok has not yet released any information regarding the placement. Candidates can stay tuned with Shiksha for any updates. On the placement portal, the NIELIT does, however, provide information about placement. A placement portal created especially to help NIELIT qualifiers is being used in an effort to empower and enable them. NIELIT Gangtok application forms will be available at the official website of the college, nielit.gov.in/gangtok year around. Short-term course enrollment is merit-based and open all year long. Non-formal course admissions take place twice a year, in January and July. Admission is sometimes announced through the center's website (nielit.gov.in/gangtok) and press announcements (Sikkim Express, Hamro Prajashakti, Dainik Jagran, etc.). The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, founded the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Gangtok, as one of its units.
