To avoid negative marking in SNAP, candidates must not do guess work. If they are not sure of the correct answer or find the question from out of their comfort zone, then don't attempt it.

SNAP score is vaild for one year only. If you have appeared for the exam in 2025, then the scores will be valid for admission to 2026 batch only. If you decide to drop a year, you will have to appear for the exam again, next year.

SNAP cut offs are released at the time of PI shortlisting. The cut offs are released individually by SIU institutes and are known through login only. Shiksha has shared previous year's cut offs for colleges on the website. Check here: https://www.shiksha.com/mba/snap-exam-cutoff

Yes, SNAP scores are compulsory for admission to the MBA course at SIBM Hyderabad. The only accepted entrance exam as of now that SIBM Hyderabad accepts for admission to the MBA course is SNAP. Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates are required to complete the eligibility criteria. The minimum eligibility criteria required by the institute are that applicants must complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST).

However, it is very important to prepare well for SNAP. Only then one can improve score in the subsequent attempt. One should note down their shortcomings in the first attempt and work on them so that they can make up in the second attempt.
