Shiv Nadar University offers admission into the following departments of the university:
- School of Engineering (SoE)
- School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SoHSS)
- School of Natural Sciences (SoNS)
- School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SoME)

SNUSAT exam is conducted with four sections. Each section has a time duration as mentioned below:
Verbal Reasoning: 30 minutes
Quantitative Ability: 36 minutes
Abstract Reasoning: 40 minutes
Essay: 15 minutes
Analysing the section wise time duration, the overall exam duration for SNUSAT is 121 minutes. Candidates need to answer all the questions in a section within the stipulated time frame.

The SNUSAT exam is conducted in physical mode at Pearson VUE centres. Candidates must appear for the exam in designated test centres that are identified by Pearson VUE. Candidates will find their test centre mentioned on the admit card, Those failing to appear at the designated exam centres will not be allowed to take the SNUSAT exam.
