Yes, the University has a Training and Placement Cell that focuses on three aspects of a career such as Placement and subsequent career, Higher Education, and Entrepreneurship. The Cell organises training modules as a part of regular classes starting from the pre-final year of all the batches so that they get ready before the start of the campus recruitment drives.

The MBA placement rate dropped slightly from 2021 to 2022 and for 2022 and 2023 the placement rate has been stagnant. According to my opinion and research, GIET has the best placements till 2023. In 2023, almost 80% of students get good placements in reputed colleges. The average package for CSE students is INR 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are: Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Decathlon, Emicon, Techsophy, Vimlesh Industries, and Secugenius.
