No, aspirants seeking admission in BA/ BA (Hons) programme of Sri Balaji University Pune do not require passing an entrance exam. Aspirants are shortlisted based on their qualifying exam scores and performance in the personal interview round. The university gives 50% weightage to qualifying exam score and other 50% to PI round to prepare the final merit list.

The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants seeking admission in UG courses such as BA, BBA, BCA, BSc and BPES are selected based on their merit and do not require passing an entrance test. The university accepts entrance exam scores for admission to PG and PhD programmes. The university conducts SBEST for admission to Law and MBA courses.

Sri Balaji University conducts SBEST for admission to MBA and Law programmes. Candidates who have appeared for any of the national or state-level accepted entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET, CLAT, MAH CET, etc. are exempted from appearing for SBEST.
The university also conducts SBUP PET for admission to PhD programme. The test is conducted in online mode for 60 minutes. The test includes two-sections with first section of 30 minutes consisting of question on Research Aptitude and second section with questions on topic of Management.
