The medium of teaching the BA (Hons) course at Sri University is the regular mode, in which candidates are required to attend the class course inside the campus. In-person learning allows for more direct interaction with teachers and classmates. To get admission into the regular mode of BA (Hons) course at Sri University, candidates are required to complete their Class 12 and secure a valid score in SSU CET.

Sri University's BA curriculum includes various core subjects. These subjects carry the highest credits and cannot be opted out. Moreover, these subjects help students develop a deep understanding of different facets of Psychology and Contemplative Studies. Some of the core subjects included in the first semester of curriculum are:

  • Gateway to Psychology and Contemplative Studies 
  • Basic Research Methods for Psychological Enquiry

Yes, Sri Univerity offers seat reservations for sports to BA students. The eligibility criteria to get the reservation is those who have represented the state during the last three years at national level sports shall get 10% weightage of marks over and above the aggregate career marks.

After completing the BA application form and qualifying for the SSU CET at Sri University, the admission department released the provisional admission letter to the selected students. Moreover, the provisional admission is valid only till Sep 30, 2025. Beyond this date, the seat would be cancelled and considered vacant and no refund of the amount of the provisional admission will be done.

The admission portal of Sri University for the BA course is currently open candidates can also register themselves for the SSU CET entrance examination. Additionally, If candidates have appeared in a qualifying examination and the result is awaited, they can apply provisionally and go through the admission process. Hence, candidates can apply now for admission to BA at SSU.

The selection process for the BA course at Sri University includes a valid score in the SSU CET exam followed by counselling. However, to appear in the SSU CET exam, candidates are required to fill out the university's admission form and must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria that state candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum score of 50%.
