A minimum age requirement established by Sri University for applicants to the regular BA (Hons) programme is until July 1, 2025, candidates should not be older than 21 years old. Additionally, in order to be enrolled on this programme, candidates must first meet the primary eligibility requirements, which include being under 21 years old and completing Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 

After completing the BA application form and qualifying for the SSU CET at Sri University, the admission department released the provisional admission letter to the selected students. Moreover, the provisional admission is valid only till Sep 30, 2025. Beyond this date, the seat would be cancelled and considered vacant and no refund of the amount of the provisional admission will be done.

Currently, Sri University has not released the commencement date of the BA new session. However, according to the information available on the official website of the university- the commencement of final admissions for the BA (Hons) course begins on July 1, 2025 onwards. So, candidates can anticipate that classes will start a few days after the final admission's commencement. 

The admission portal of Sri University for the BA course is currently open candidates can also register themselves for the SSU CET entrance examination. Additionally, If candidates have appeared in a qualifying examination and the result is awaited, they can apply provisionally and go through the admission process. Hence, candidates can apply now for admission to BA at SSU.

The eligibility criteria for the BA courses at Sri University is candidates must complete their higher senior secondary with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised board of education and from any stream. Additionally, after applying for the course, candidates must appear in the Sri University in-house entrance test- SSU CET. The scores of this mentioned entrance exam are considered to get admission into the BA course. 

Yes, Sri University does offer BA courses for the duration over three years, divided into six semesters. To get admission into these courses candidates are required to qualify for their Class 12 irrespective of stream specification. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50%, and for the selection process, the university accepts its in-house entrance examination score- SSU CET.
