It is optional. The criteria is, A Bachelor's degree with minimum aggregate of 60%. Admission will be done through SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Management (SRMJEEM) followed by a Personal Interview. Students with eligible entrance scores in CAT/SAT/MAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT/TANCET may also apply.

For the UG courses, The fees for the Bsc (Hons.) is 43,000 (1st Year Fees) . For BA (Hons.) it is 38,000 (1st Year Fees). For BCA it is 60,000 (1st Year Fees). And for BBA it is 60,000 (1st Year Fees).

Yes, The SRM University Sikkim more expensive than The ICFAI University, Sikkim. For Example, The MBA for 2 years costs 1.45 lacs in SRM University Sikkim. And in the ICFAI University, Sikkim, It costs around 97,000 INR.

Yes, SRM University Sikkim is one of the best Collage in Gangtok. The Campus infrastructure is too good and the placement in this Collage. From 6 semesters students are eligible for applying on-campus placements. There are ample companies like Sun pharma, Mercedes-Benz, Hilton, ICICI Bank, Indigo, and many more. In 2018, 90% placement was provided.

Faculty: Some say the faculty is decent and supportive.
Curriculum: Some say the curriculum and placement training helped them get a job at a company they wanted.
Facilities: Some say the facilities are unmatched, especially the library.
Placement Experience : Students are eligible for campus placement for 5 semester. The companies that come for campus placement are Wipro, Flipkart, Mayfair, Asian Paint, lenskart, by Jus Torrent. The average package is INR 3 LPA. 90% of students get placed. My plan after getting my degree is to do a job in a good company.

The Sikkim University as well as SRM University, Sikkim are both well known universities in sikkim state. Both have a good placement records exceeding 85%. The median package of Sikkim University is INR 5.4 LPA and SRM university is about INR 3.5 LPA. Therefore, we can say that Sikkim university is at par with SRM university.

For its B.Tech program, SRM University Sikkim offers approximately 450 seats. There are seats available in a variety of engineering specialties. There are fifteen seats reserved for Sikkim students in the biotechnology programme and fifteen more seats are available for students from other areas. Sikkim and non-Sikkim students each have 15 seats in the civil engineering program. There are 23 seats available for students from other regions and 22 seats reserved for Sikkim students in the Computer Science and Engineering program.
Furthermore, 20 seats are available for Sikkim and non-Sikkim students in the Electrical and Electronics

1.On the university website, register for SRMUSEE online (usually in May or June).
2.Consider taking the computer-based SRMUSEE, which assesses your English, math, physics, and chemical knowledge.
3.Online results for the SRMUSEE are available two weeks after the test.
4.Apply online for admission in July or August, usually.
5.Attend the counseling session, which, if you are shortlisted, will take place in Aug or Sept.
Upon acceptance, pay the entrance fee online or in person at the university's campus.

When comparing B.Tech specializations, SRM University offers more options than ICFAI University.
It is well known that SRM University is a reputable engineering college in India.
The accreditation of SRM University is A+, while that of ICFAI University is B+, indicating disparities in the caliber of the two institutions. So, B.Tech at SRM University Sikkim is better than ICFAI University, Sikkim.
