SRM Valliammai Engineering College is a good College in comparison to DMI COLLEGE of Engineering but the fee structure of SRM is very high it would be 1.7 Lacs per year but the fees of DMI is INR 70,000 per year. So, SRM is more expensive than DMI in Chennai.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at SRM Valliammai Engineering College are as follows:
- Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
- Admission to the BE programme is based on TNEA counseling, and students must have passed the 12th examination with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combined from a recognised board to be eligible for admission.

SRM Valliammai Engineering College is part of the SRM Group of Educational Institutions. It's located on National Highway 45 between Tambaram and Chengalpattu. Some say it's a good university with many facilities, including clean classrooms, a library, labs, and a hostel.
