SSC CGL Notifications

SSC CGL recruitment notification is released for about 34 Group-B and C posts available in different ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India. The Staff Selection Commission releases the official notification and mentions the post-list separately under the candidate's information. Some of the best posts in the SSC CGL exam are Assistant Account Officer (AAO), Income Tax Inspector (IT) GST Inspector. 

This year, the Income Tax Inspector post was re-classified as Group B post.

The Staff Selection Commission does not release the SSC CGL admit card release date in the notification. However, the admit card for SSC CGL is released about one week before the exam. The SSC CGL admit cards was not released by the regional websites. The admit card is released four days before the exam date of the candidate.

SSC CGL 2025 exam was conducted till September 26.

The official notification mentioned the SSC CGL posts, age limit, eligibility, vacancies, exam date, eligibility criteria, pattern, syllabus, result declaration criteria, etc. The candidates should read and understand all the important information mentioned in the official notification to understand the process of the exam. The SSC CGL 2024 notification will be released on June 11, 2024. The last date to apply for the SSC CGL exam 2024 will be July 10, 2024.

The SSC CGL 2024 exam will be conducted in August-September 2024.

The Staff Selection Commission, the conducting body for the exam, releases the SSC CGL notification. The Commission releases the official notification online only which serves as the rule book for the exam. The Commission can change/amend the SSC CGL notification anytime before or even after the declaration of the exam result. 

The SSC CGL 2025 notification was released online on June 9 and the last date to apply online was July 4, 2025. The Commission notified 14,582 vacancies for the SSC CGL 2025 exam.
