If you are in general category then it is possible to get SSN but don't be sure on this because this rank is on the edge of final cutoff but if you are from categories like BC then the cutoffs are more high than the general category one. If we talk about previous cutoffs then it seems possible to get admission with this cut off but if you are in other category then it's not possible

Yes, SSN College of Engineering offers TNEA counselling for BTech admission under government quota. The candidates have to register for TNEA and report for counselling on the basis of their merit rank. Seats are allocated based on Class 12 marks and availability in desired branches. This is in addition to the management quota admissions at SSNCE.

For BTech admission in SSN College of Engineering, students should have passed Class 12 with 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission will be on merit and attendance in TNEA counselling for seat allocation. More marks make the chances better to obtain a desired branch in counselling. Passing the minimum marks is necessary to be eligible for admission at SSNCE.

For elite branches like CSE or ECE, which often demand 192+ marks. Entrance to SSN college through TNEA is unlikely due to cutoff of 176.5 and BC category. Later counselling rounds, however, can provide you a shot in branches with less demand. Have backup on hand.
