No, candidates cannot take direct admission at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. The college offers admission into the UG and PG courses strictly on the basis of score obtained in XAT entrance exam. The college offers 15% of the total seats under management quota.  It is mostly reserved for children of teaching/non-teaching staff or official benefactors of the college.

"In-house" students, means those who finished Junior College at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, receive significant preference:

  • General BSc: They get first priority for these seats.

  • Professional BSc: Preference is generally not applicable for IT or Biotech.
