For 2026 entry into MS Design at Stanford, application will opened in mid-September 2025 on university official portal. The application for this program closed on Dec 02, 2025. No applications are accepted after this deadline.

Stanford University does not require the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) scores for the admission in the MS course along with other specialzations for all the programs but students can submit their GRE scores along with their application form to enhance their portfolio.
However, the university has not shared any mnimium score requirement for the GRE test.

To get into Stanford MS CS, meet the entry requirements given below:
- The applicants must have the equivalent of a United States bachelor’s degree from a college or university of recognised good standing. Usually, a GPA of at least 3.5 for MS applicants is needed
- Stanford University does not require a specific undergraduate coursework. But, Stanford University has mentioned that it is important that applicants have strong quantitative and analytical skills. Furthermore, the university has mentioned that for admission to the MS in CS program, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is not required
- TOEFL score is also required

If there is no counselor at your school, you can name your school principal or any other school official, who has overseen or evaluated your academic progress throughout. This same person will be required to complete the school report on the recommenders and FERPA section.
