Stevens Institute of Technology Eligibility

International students who are planning to take full-time admission at the Stevens Institute of Technology are required to submit their GMAT or GRE scores while applying to the university. Part-time applicants to the master's programme are not required to submit test scores with their applications. Stevens Institute of Technology offers more than 50 master's degree courses and all candidates must fulfill the below mentioned entry criteria in order to secure an admission in the university.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a business discipline, computer science, information systems or finance;

• A TOEFL score of at least 90 or an IELTS score of at least 6.5 in each component;

• Valid GMAT or GRE scores;

• A statement of purpose (Describing the applicant’s research interests and rationale, and general career objectives in three pages);

• Current résumé or curriculum vitae;

• Official transcripts for accredited schools of higher learning attended (Typically, a GPA of 3.0 or better at the bachelor’s level and 3.5 or better at the master’s level, are required)

• Three letters of recommendation; and

• Evidence of prior scholarly work (this work should be written solely by the applicant; published work under sole authorship will be highly valued).

Stevens Institute of Technology offers 35 undergraduate majors in fields like Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Medicine and more. The general entry requirements for bachelor's courses at Stevens are:

For Business:

• Four years of English
• Four years of mathematics (two years of algebra; one year of geometry; and one year of pre-calculus). Applicants to the Quantitative Finance programme should have more extensive preparation in high school math with one year of calculus.
• Three years of lab Science (two of which must include biology, chemistry or physics)

For the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences:

• Four years of English
• Three years of mathematics (two years of algebra and one year of geometry). Applicants to the Quantitative Social Science and Science, Technology & Society programme should have more extensive preparation in high school math with one year of pre-calculus
• One year of lab Science (either physics, chemistry or biology). Applicants to the Quantitative Social Science programme should have two years of lab Science (biology, chemistry and/or physics). Applicants to the Science, Technology & Society programme should have more extensive preparation in high school Science with three years of lab Science (biology, chemistry and physics).

For the Accelerated Pre-Medicine Program:

• Four years of English
• Four years of college prep mathematics
• Three years of lab Science (biology, chemistry and physics)
• Pursue Andhra Pradesh Biology and Andhra Pradesh Chemistry (if possible)
• Achieve a combined SAT score of 1400 (critical reading and math) or ACT composite of 32 in one sitting
