Stevens Institute of Technology Eligibility

International students who are planning to take full-time admission at the Stevens Institute of Technology are required to submit their GMAT or GRE scores while applying to the university. Part-time applicants to the master's programme are not required to submit test scores with their applications. If the candidate has a GMAT/GRE test score, then they may include their scores with their application. There is no minimum GMAT/GRE requirement at Stevens. However, admission to School of Business programs is very competitive; excellent scores are required for candidates to be accepted.

SIT offer 35 UG majors in fields like Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Medicine, etc. General entry requirements for UG courses at Stevens are mentioned below-

• High school transcripts
• English proficiency exam score
• SAT/ACT score

Note- SIT has no min GPA or test score requirement. Successful applicants in recent incoming classes had avg GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 and SAT scores in range of 1400 to 1490.

The recommended coursework according to choice of programme at Stevens are-

For Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Sciences-

• 4 years of English
• 4 years of maths
• 3  years of lab Science

For Business:

• Four years of English
• Four years of mathematics (two years of algebra; one year of geometry; and one year of pre-calculus). Applicants to the Quantitative Finance programme should have more extensive preparation in high school math with one year of calculus.
• Three years of lab Science (two of which must include biology, chemistry or physics)

For the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences:

• Four years of English
• Three years of mathematics (two years of algebra and one year of geometry). Applicants to the Quantitative Social Science and Science, Technology & Society programme should have more extensive preparation in high school math with one year of pre-calculus
• One year of lab Science (either physics, chemistry or biology). Applicants to the Quantitative Social Science programme should have two years of lab Science (biology, chemistry and/or physics). Applicants to the Science, Technology & Society programme should have more extensive preparation in high school Science with three years of lab Science (biology, chemistry and physics).

For the Accelerated Pre-Medicine Program:

• Four years of English
• Four years of college prep mathematics
• Three years of lab Science (biology, chemistry and physics)
• Pursue Andhra Pradesh Biology and Andhra Pradesh Chemistry (if possible)
• Achieve a combined SAT score of 1400 (critical reading and math) or ACT composite of 32 in one sitting
