Document verification is a crucial step in the process of MVSc admission at SVVU Tirupati. Selected candidates must report to the campus with the specified original documents to confirm their admission. Some documents required during the process are listed below:

• Pass Certificate-cum-Memorandum of Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate)
• Hall Ticket & Rank Card of ICAR AIEEA
• Class 12 or equivalent examination Certificate
• Community Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Classes/Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, signed by the competent authority/the latest EWS certificate
• Bonafide Study certificates (Class 6 onwards)
• Residence Certificate, if necessary
• Transfer Certificate from the College or School where the candidate last studied
• Form I and Form II, with evidence of land owned: Adangal/ 1B (or) Copy of Original Pattadar Passbook
• In case of candidates under Special Categories (CAP / NCC / PH / Sports & Games) the original certificates issued by the competent authorities

The SVVU Tirupati MVSc admission procedure starts with applying for the accepted entrance exam, i.e. ICAR AIEEA. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria for MVSc admission. Candidates with a valid ICAR AIEEA score are allocated seats through counselling. The seats are filled through the Andhra Pradesh state quota, implying that only the candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh can apply for admission. However, 30% of the seats, over and above the state quota seats are reserved for the ICAR (All-India) quota. Selected candidates must report to the university for further admission formalities.

SVVU Tirupati has a decent placement record. As per the VSSU student reviews, most of the students are recruited into Animal Husbandry department through the Government notification. Around 70% of students get placed every year. The salary package offered to BVSc students ranges from INR 2.8 LPA to INR 9.75 LPA. The top recruiting companies include The Indian Veterinary Research Institute, PETA India, Terzetto Pharma Metrics, Amul Dairy, etc. Students gave a four-star rating to SVVU BVSc placements. According to the university's NIRF Report 2024, 65 students (out of 222) were placed at various organisations, with an average package of INR 8.75 LPA. 157 students opted for further education.

Once a candidate is offered admission to the BVSc & AH course of SVVU Tirupati, they must report to the university campus for document verification. They must submit the following original documents to finalise their admission:

• Class 12 or equivalent examination Certificate

There are two ways to secure admission at SVVU Tirupati for BVSc course. Those who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age can get admission at the university in one of the following two ways:

• 85% of the total seats are filled under state quota through the combined counselling conducted by ANGRAU based on the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET merit. Within the state quota, there is a Farmers' quota wherein 25% of area-wise seats are reserved for candidates from farmers' families with 3 acres of agricultural land. Such candidates must have studied in a rural area for a minimum period of four years
• 15% of the total seats are filled by the Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi through a common entrance examination
