To gain admission to at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Modern Science, the candidates need to have qualified at least 10+2 with different combinations of subjects as per the course requirement. For instance, a science combination is a must for (link untraceable) in Biotechnology and Microbiology. However, in the case of Hospitality and Hotel Administration and Media Science, any combination suffices. The courses are three-year bachelor's degree full-time courses with an entry requirement of a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10 plus 2 years of education. Besides that, some of the Courses also suggest common entrance tests JEE or WBJEE, etc.

For admission into the B.Sc. The selection for undergraduate programs at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Modern Science, Kolkata is based mainly on marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 (higher secondary) exams. B.Sc. does not have a specific entrance exam named in the list of admissions, even if the criteria will be changed as per MAKAUT, Kolkata guidelines (Affiliated to this Institute).

You can directly get admission in Swami Vivekananda Institute of Modern Science (SVIMS), Kolkata Although the institute usually admits students based on entrance exam scores, for more specific cases it also provides Direct Admission. To ensure admission, you'll have to satisfy the prerequisites for that particular course (eg 12th level degree if it's an undergraduate program)
