In SCMS Nagpur, the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated by taking the weighted average of the grade points obtained by the student in all the courses they have taken, based on the number of credits assigned to each course. The grade point for each course is calculated by multiplying the grade obtained by the credit assigned to that course. The grade point is a numerical value assigned to a letter grade on a 10-point scale, as follows:

To calculate the CGPA, the weighted average of all the grade points obtained by the student is calculated by dividing the total weighted grade points by the total number of credits taken by the student. The formula for CGPA calculation is as follows:
CGPA = Total weighted grade points /Total credits
The CGPA scale ranges from 0 to 10, with 10 being the highest achievable CGPA.

If you have applied for both BBA and B.Sc Economics programs and there is a common entrance exam (SET), then your admission will be based on your performance in the SET exam.
After the SET exam, the participating colleges will release their cutoff scores for each program. If you have scored above the cutoff score for a particular program, you will be eligible for admission to that program.
It is possible that you may be eligible for admission to both the BBA and B.Sc Economics programs if you have scored above the cutoff scores for both the programs. However, you will have to choose which program you want to take admission in, based on your preference and the availability of seats.

After the release of the SET test results, SCMS Pune will publish the SET BBA 2023 cutoff. Probable timing for the online announcement of the SET BBA results is the second week of July 2023. The student must receive at least the SET BBA cutoff 2023 in order to advance to the next stage of selection.
